Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: The Chicago Theatre, 175 N State St, Chicago, IL 60601-3623

We start our tour under the dazzling marquee of the Chicago Theater (where you might recognize the neon sign from the movie musical Chicago) before heading off into the bustling city.

Duration: 5-10min

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Chicago Pedway, Chicago, IL

We’ll then head towards the Chicago Pedway. This unique feature of Chicago is used by locals and commuters daily to move about the city in a network of underground tunnels — especially necessary during the Midwest winters. We’ll head back above-ground near City Hall, and on most weekdays, be able to head inside to see the classic interior design and architecture.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Chicago Riverwalk, Chicago, IL 60601

Weather permitting, we’ll take a stroll along the Chicago Riverwalk while taking in views of several soaring buildings, including Marina Towers, the Britannica Building, and the Sears Tower (now known as the Willis Tower).

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Chicago River, Chicago, IL

From there, we’ll either hop on the ‘L’ train or a water taxi on the Chicago River (depending on the weather and time of year). Either option offers a uniquely local Chicago experience! The ‘L’ train is recognized as a Chicago landmark having been featured in movies and TV shows for decades. You’ll enjoy feeling like a local as you zip past buildings and catch even more awesome views. If your guide takes you on a water taxi, you’ll be seeing the Chicago skyline from a totally different perspective, as well as sharing in the daily commute of local Chicagoans late for work.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: The Magnificent Mile, North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611

Finally, we’ll take a stroll through the beautiful lakefront parks along Michigan Avenue.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Cloud Gate, 201 E. Randolph St. Millenium Park, Chicago, IL 60601-6530

We’ll end up in the picturesque Millennium Park, home to the iconic Bean sculpture. Here (or nearby), your guide will conclude your tour and point you in the right direction toward more amazing sights, great lunch spots, or a drink recommendation inside one of the most amazing spaces in the city.

Duration: 20 minutes

Our tour was changed a few times but I have no doubt it turned out exactly how it was supposed to. We ended up havimg Kelly as our guide (this was a change) and she was phenomenal! Her knowledge, stories and insights of the city were so intriguing! My only suggestion for her is a list of suggestions even if she emailed it text it to those interested after the tour. She was SO GOOD at trying to personalize each group with where we were staying but she had SO MANY good suggestions it was impossible to remember them all. She was truly fantastic though!

Our guide, Lara was phenomenal! I would tour with her anywhere. She made us feel comfortable and welcome. Great mix of history, fun facts, & hit all the important places. Us South Carolina girls had a ball. Thank you so much!

Kelly was a very knowledgeable and personable guide. Learned many fun facts about the Windy City. One improvement would be headsets to block out street noise and make it easier to hear the guide.

We’ve been to Chicago many times, but this was the first time we’ve gone on a tour. Wow! Certainly worth it! We learned so many new and exciting things that we’ll definitely be utilizing in the future. The guide was very informative, but he also made everything fun. The flow was perfect and we got a great mix of history, architecture and fun facts. Great time!

Too much fun driving in the barrel bus meeting new friends and tasting new beers. I definitely recommend this activity when visiting Chicago. The driver/guide was very personable. The beers were great and I discovered some delicious cider ales. A must!

Had a great time with this tour! Even though it was amended, so much was packed into 2.5 hours! Our guide was so knowledgeable and fun that people who weren't a part of the tour were stopping and asking for more information themselves! We were able to see so many sights as well. Be sure to dress comfortably as there is alot of walking and maybe have some water on hot days, but overall it was a great experience. Mom and I learned so much and had a blast! Great way to get a good over view of the city and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour to others either!
