Best excursion yet! Beth (the guide) and Sonny (boat captain) were the best! They showed us wildlife and beautiful scenery. They were very informative. Shout out to Beth for taking videos of my husband and friend hand feeding deer! The seafood boil was delicious! I highly recommend this excursion!

We happened on this tour as an option available through Princess Cruises. It was worth the spend. Although catching and picking crabs is nothing new to us having lived close to the Chesapeake for years, they did a great job of showing the process and letting people be involved. The boat trip was good and gave us a view of the Alaskan waterways that we would not have experienced had we not taken the tour. The free (included) beer was good and the crabs were both good and plentifull. My one disappointment was that I tried to contact them after the trip, sending an email to both of the address on their card, no answer to either and one came back as no good. I think I left a hat there and wanted to try to recover it. Overall a good experience with a crew of energetic people.

The staff was great. The boat was fun and the crab feast was delicious. We had the opportunity to hold the crabs and saw the bald eagle.

The tour was okay and we did get to see some eagles. The guides were good and entertaining. But we were rushed at the crab fest and didn’t have time to have”all you can eat”. The cheesecake was fantastic!

Everyone was very friendly and informative, Ira was our Crab “servant “ (his words) he taught us how to crack the legs open. Emily and Captain Rusty were our guides on the boat part of the excursion and they were great! She told us the history of the lodge and showed us an Eagles nest with two Eaglets. I felt we had plenty of time to eat until we were stuffed and then some. If I could change one thing..... rip up the carpet in the dining rooms so that the 100 generations of crab feasts can air out of the wood floor a little. The smell was pretty powerful. People should be aware that there are 79 steps that you’ll have to take on, if you’re unable to do it they will provide a ride.

This was a fun excursion. It included a boat ride, an eagle that came close to the boat, crabpot instruction and a feast of crab with some fun staff. Just perfect for the day in Ketchikan.

The ride out to George Inlet Lodge is a nice ride. First we were out on the boat tour with a great naturist. Learned about the cannery we passed and of course, were up close and personal with the bald eagles. Sunny day, just perfect. Upon return, crabfest! The staff demonstrates the efficient way to crack crab and away you go. Great time and lots of laughs.
