Interesting tour from a knowledgable guide. However, it would have been nice to stop and walk around the Amish vacation area. Spending 45 minutes or so at a hotel looking at photos and tasting pie was a huge waste of time.

Kendra's first hand family experiences, her expertise and her knowledge of Amish culture. A great tour guide....funny and friendly Also liked the "fairy" streaks in her hair

Had a wonderful tour of Pinecraft, the Amish enclave that is part of Sarasota. The tour guide, Kendra, had extensive knowledge of the Amish experience as she has family members who are part of the culture. The tour was a nice blend of the history of the Amish culture, differentiation of it and other similar cultures such as the Mennonites, and stops to experience and observe as well. Enjoyed it very much.

Great tour! We learned so much. Kendra has firest hand knowledge of the Amish culture and wonderful information and stories. We have lived in this area for over 40 years and had little to no knowledge of this community other than the restaurants. I would highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide, Kendra was winsome and knowledgeable. It was interesting to see the Amish, learn about their heritage, watch some quilting, and even have a delicious treat - I had the coconut cream pie bite from Der Dutchman. We would highly recommend this trip!

This tour was fascinating. Kendra's wealth of knowledge and personal experience really entertained me and my guest! Always eager to learn more about my adopted city of Sarasota, this tour provides the history of how the Amish came to be in Sarasota and the rich culture that has developed here. As Kendra says' "You don't have to agree with all of it but it is helpful to listen and understand why and how the Amish live as they do." Some highlights were observing the quilt makers and discovering another neighborhood in Sarasota. This is my second Discover Sarasota tour and I'll be back for more. Thanks Kendra!
